Fresh and lively and has citrus- lime and lemon flavours, some kiwi fruit along with background herbaceous characters. It shows fresh, crisp acidity and good persistence of flavour.

AROMA
Showing aromatic varietal characters of lime, kiwi fruit, hints of melon, along with some herby notes- nettle and hints of grassiness.
PALATE
The palate has a fresh, zesty line of acid, with flavours of ripe lime, pineapple and kiwifruit along with a little fennel, hints of minerality and a vibrant fresh finish.
VINEYARD
The vineyard is on deep sandy soil over Limestone in a slightly elevated position.
SEASON
The 2024 season started dry with warm days and quite cool nights meant a slow start to shoot growth, and smaller crops in some early flowering varieties. In mid- November the weather pattern changed to give us a lot of rain and some humidity, which helped with shoot growth and to improve crop levels. In early January the rain stopped thankfully, and we had dry conditions right the way through harvest, so disease pressure was low. Overall wine quality is very good.
WINEMAKERS NOTES
Harvested in the cool of the night, the juice had minimal skin contact to maintain freshness. Fermented under cool conditions, and bottled soon after the fermentation to trap all the fresh fruit aromatics in the bottle.
