Dark berry fruit along with background cedary spice from the oak and hints of cocoa. It has a lovely depth of flavour, is soft and round with a fine long tannin structure.

Aromas of bramble and mulberries mix with oak spice and woody herbs.
PALATE
The palate has flavours of blueberries and mulberries, is fresh, bright and fruit driven with background oak spice. The wine shows a good acid line, is medium weight and has a good persistence of flavour.
VINEYARD
Sourced from two vineyard sites, both on red loamy clay over limestone providing richness and structure to the wine and maintaining classic Cabernet Sauvignon flavours, whilst some differences between the 2 sites provide complexity.
WINEMAKERS NOTES
Fermented on skins for 5 days and matured for a period of 12 months. A proportion was matured in French oak, but the majority was unoaked to allow the fruit to shine.
